Tonight we attended a superb concert by the 19 year old pianist Jeneba Kanneh-Mason at the Erin Arts Centre in Port Erin, Isle of Man. It was great to return to listening to some high quality classical music. This was just one of the performances at the 46th Mananan Festivals. The Solem String Quartet and Christine Collister included a diverse range of musical content while Liz Grand gave a fascinating insight into the life of Winston Churchill with her one ‘man’ play called Mrs Churchill – my life with Winston.
